SVL Attended MN ASHRAE’s 53rd Annual Golf TournamentMN ASHRAEs 53rd Annual Golf Tournament

SVL joined engineers, contractors, and other HVAC industry professionals to compete in MN ASHRAE’s 53rd annual Golf Tournament on August 25th. The event was held at Majestic Oaks Golf Course in Ham Lake, Minnesota. It was one of the last beautiful days of summer.

The 53rd Annual ASHRAE Golf Tournament was a bit out of the ordinary compared to previous years, but 2020 hasn’t been a typical year in many ways.  Regardless, many teams made it out to golf the Signature course.  The shotgun start began at 10:00 am. Food and drinks were available to all to help keep the energy high, as everyone relished the beautiful weather. Social distancing rules didn’t stop players from safely participating and enjoying the day.

SVL’s Sponsored Hole

SVL sponsored the 12th hole with a game and giveaways.  Closest to the Pin was the challenge, and it created an extra level of friendly competition within teams. One winner from each foursome of golfers received a sleeve of ProV golf balls and bragging rights. Chad Sime, SVL’s hydronics sales engineer, and one of the events team members hosted the hole, offering drinks and SVL branded cooling towels and bottle openers. As required by the state, social distancing rules were followed, though it didn’t stop players from enjoying a quick break between holes. The SVL team enjoyed conversing and playing with many industry professionals.

Majestic Oaks

Majestic Oaks once again hosted the Minnesota Chapter of ASHRAE’s annual golf tournament. The Signature course is one of two that are available onsite, providing ample challenge for experienced golfers. The venue and scenery is an excellent option for a day of golf or an event of any scale.
