Evapco - Water Treatment
Evapco Extra-Pak® Ice Coil
Water Treatment
For More Information:
The Extra-Pak® Ice Coil by EVAPCO represents the first major technological advancement of thermal water treatment storage systems equipment in many years. EVAPCO manufactures these ice coils from hot dip galvanized, high-quality steel.
These high efficiency ice coils are suitable for all types of large, energy-saving, thermal storage systems with field-constructed concrete tanks. EVAPCO technology builds more pounds of ice per foot of tube (i.e. greater capacity) than any ice coil on the market today.
Highlights:
- Designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of ASME B31.5
- 0.060-inch tube wall thickness for increased coil life (90% greater wall thickness than other manufacturers)
- Pressure tested underwater to 400 psig (2.75 mPa)
- Reliably provides 34–42 ºF (1.1–5.5 ºC) chilled water at all times
- Reduces energy costs by shifting peak electric power and energy use to off-peak periods
- Ideal for urban installations and retrofit projects where real estate or building space is at a premium
Evapco Pulse-Pure®
Water Treatment
For More Information:
Pulse~Pure® provides a complete water treatment system for your evaporative cooling equipment which significantly reduces the environmental impacts associated with the production, shipping, handling, and storage of chemicals. This environmentally responsible alternative utilizes pulsed electric fields to control microbiological growth, scale, and corrosion.
Highlights:
- Factory pretreatment (Passiv-Assist®) enhances the speed and effectiveness of properly executed field passivation, including units requiring immediate heat load
- Field passivation tailored for each location and the site-specific makeup water quality
- EVAPCO’s network of factory-authorized water treatment partners are trained to assist in the field passivation
- Factory Mounted Pulse~Pure® and Smart Shield® systems are designed with ports to aid in passivation field panel install
- Passivation plan promotes the formation of a passive oxide layer, eliminating the need to feed white rust inhibitors for the life of the unit
