Aaon® Controls - Control Systems
VCCX2 Unit Controller
Control Systems
For More Information:
The VCCX2 Controller is a configurable unit controller that can be used for Constant Air Volume, Variable Air Volume (VAV), Single Zone VAV, Make-Up Air, and Space Temperature Control of a High Percentage Outdoor Air applications.
The VCCX2 Controller is designed with 8 analog inputs, 4 analog outputs, 8 binary inputs and 8 relay outputs – all for specifically designed functions. It also has an on-board BACnet® port for connection to an MS/TP network. An available EM1 Expansion Module and 12 Relay Expansion Module are available to provide additional specific I/O functions.
The VCCX2 Controller typically uses Refrigerant System Module(s) to control everything related to the refrigeration circuit(s), including compressors, condensers, and electronic expansion valves while also monitoring for applicable safeties and alarms.

System Manager Touch Screen
Control Systems
For More Information:
The System Manager TS-L (Limited Access) is an end-user interface that provides a graphic-enhanced, menu-driven link to allow the end user to change space setpoints and schedules, and to view status and certain alarms of most controllers on the Orion Controls System.
Additionally, there is a System Manager TS II that allows for full configuration of a job site but it is only compatible with VCB-X, VCM-X E-BUS and VCM.
Commlink 5
Control Systems
For More Information:
The CommLink 5 is used to create communications between controllers or local loops on your controls system. It can also be used as an interface for connection of a Windows computer to your system.
The CommLink 5 provides communication with the control system through any Windows computer running Prism 2 software.
IP Module
Control Systems
For More Information:
The IP Module is installed into the CommLink 5 Communications Device and provides a TCP/IP Port connection from the WattMaster control system to a building’s Ethernet LAN, providing communications with the control system through any Windows computer (with Prism 2 installed) connected to the LAN or the Internet.
Modular Service Tool SD
Control Systems
For More Information:
The Modular Service Tool SD is an Operator Interface that provides a direct link to enable the system operator to view the status, configure, and adjust the setpoints of the VCCX2, VCB-X, VCM-X E-BUS, and previous generation controllers.
Room Sensors
Control Systems
For More Information:
Flush Mount Room Sensor
Our Flush Mount Room Sensor comes in 4 different styles:
- Plain
- With Push-Button Override
- With Setpoint Slide Adjust
- With Push-Button Override and Slide Adjust
E-BUS Digital Room Sensor
Our E-BUS Digital Room Sensor is a communicating sensor that connects to the controller. There are 2 different styles: with display and without display. The E-BUS Digital Room Sensor with display comes in 2 different configurations: temperature only or temperature and humidity. The E-BUS Digital Room Sensor without display is a temperature and humidity sensor.
VAV / Zone Controller
Control Systems
For More Information:
The modular VAV/Zone Controller Actuator Package is used for controlling the operation of VAV or Zoning terminal units. The package contains the Modular VAV/Zone Controller and Actuator mounted and housed in a plastic enclosure.
The VAV/Zone Controller is a programmable digital controller which allows for program setpoints to be stored in non-volatile memory. The controller is connected to a room sensor via a modular cable assembly or hard-wiring, allowing the VAV/Zone Controller to modulate a damper in response to space temperature, duct temperature, and airflow requirements in the controlled space. With the addition of a Reheat Expansion Board, the controller can also control box or baseboard heating as well as series or parallel fans.
