The Encore represents the completion of RBI’s firetube boiler sizes. The company offers its Flexcore boiler at a range of 850–6 million MBh. Now, the Encore provides a new lower end to that range (349–850 MBh), perfect for residential and light commercial applications.
Encore features a compact footprint, flexible venting options, and optional online remote monitoring. It’s easy to install, service, and maintain, as Encore’s firetube heat exchanger uses a unique anti-scaling baffling system for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. Encore boilers are capable of reliable full-fire performance at just 4 inches of gas pressure.
Encore can also act as a complementary technology in the decarbonization and electrification of buildings. It is ideal for pairing with a geothermal well field or water-source heat pump arrangement, adding more heating capacity to balance the loads from winter to summer.

Alongside a 2-pass finned copper tube heat exchanger, all 8900 Series non-condensing boilers and hot water heaters are constructed with intermittent pilot ignition, adjustable high limit, and a 24V gas valve with either single-stage or two-stage firing.
