Reducing Airborne Virus Through Better Indoor Air
GPS understands the importance of pathogen reduction inside commercial and resident buildings, especially during recent times. SVL has partnered with GPS to bring you NPBI technology for increased indoor air quality, applicable to a variety of building applications.
GPS clears the air of particles faster
Pathogen reduction is important now more than ever. Pollutants, dust, allergens, mold, bacteria, and viruses are common types of particles in the air. In many cases, you can’t see them. Through needlepoint bi-polar ionization (NPBI)™, ions collide with particles resulting in a charge that attracts additional particles of opposite polarity. As a result, the particle grows larger and becomes easier to capture inside filtration systems. This is proven by independent laboratory testing to be both safe and effective.
Ionization targets pathogens
Contact with ions disrupts the pathogens’ surface proteins, rendering them inactive.
GPS technology is safe
Traditional bipolar ionization systems produce harmful ozone, but GPS products are certified by independent laboratories to be ozone-free and safe to use across commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
Performance Validation*
*DISCLAIMER: Global Plasma Solutions (GPS) uses multiple data points to formulate performance validation statements. A wide range of applications across diverse environmental conditions use GPS technology. Since locations will vary, clients should evaluate their specific applications and environmental conditions when assessing the technology’s potential benefits.
The use of this technology is not intended to take the place of reasonable precautions to prevent the transmission of pathogens. It is critical to comply with all applicable public health laws and guidelines issued by federal, state, and local governments and health authorities as well as official guidance published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html), including but not limited to social distancing, hand hygiene, cough etiquette, and the use of face masks.
