After 40 years as a Service tech for SVL, Mark Zaharia has retired. It’s not every day that a service tech retires after such a long period with one company. The impact of his career has been paramount to SVL’s customers and the cultivation of the service team. Mark spearheaded the service expansion of SVL when he and his wife Joanne moved from Minnesota to North Dakota in 2005. SVL threw a retirement party to send Mark off right. It was a wonderful evening filled with memories and laughter.

Mark’s Reflection

When asked to share his reflections over his time at SVL, Mark shared the following words: “SVL has had many quality people in the service department, sales department, and additional office staff to make it all happen. I feel very fortunate to have been a small cog in the gears of this company for 40 years. Thank you to all past and present coworkers!”

Recreationally, Mark is an avid snowmobiler. He continues to do annual snowmobile treks with his family. Mark collects and works on antique tractors. He is looking forward to more time with his kids and grandkids. Mark’s humor, excellent attitude, and expertise will be missed in the day to day operations of SVL, but the team wishes him the best!

SVL’s Service Team
