The SVL Hydronics Trailer Drew Attention at Two Golf Tournaments

The SVL Hydronics Trailer has been making appearances at local HVAC golf tournaments this year. As a new way to bring excitement to the annual golf events, the SVL Hydronics Team has been educating contractors, engineers, and customers across the greater Twin Cities area this summer. Our trailer has KN and RBI boilers onboard, as well as Spirotherm, Jeremias, Georg Fischer, and DUNGS FRS equipment. The Hydronics team pairs their expertise with the units to bring the experience wherever the event is at. Two recent tournaments attended were the Blueflame  Golf Tournament and the ASHRAE Golf Tournament. In addition to bringing the Hydronics trailer to both tournaments, SVL also sponsored holes.

Our Hydronics trailer is no stranger to golf events. The trailer has been to four tournaments thus far in 2021, with more on the schedule. Also available for product shows, the SVL Hydronics trailer allows customers a hands-on and interactive experience with each boiler.

New Features at SVL Sponsored Events

SVL was excited to elevate our hole sponsorships this year with a logoed pop-up tent. The tent protected golfers and the staff from the sun during their stop, which was appreciated on the particularly warm June days. American Solutions expertly branded the EZ Up Tent for SVL. Golfers know they’re in for a treat when they see the SVL logo, given the long history of a mini-game, prizes, and drinks at each sponsored hole.

ASHRAE 2021

ASHRAE’s annual golf tournament was held at Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, MN. June 9th was another steamy day with a high of 90 degrees. The shotgun was at 10 AM and played across two courses by 43 groups. SVL sponsored two holes with a game and drinks at both. Winners of the chipping game won a growler from Insight Brewery in Minneapolis, and winners of the other game won a sleeve of golf balls. Furthermore, the first foursome won three sleeves of golf balls, which was very exciting. Attendees of the tournament enjoyed friendly competition and the day. Blueflame Tournament 2021

The Minnesota Blue Flame Gas Association held its 2021 golf tournament on June 10th at the Cannon Falls Golf Club. Since 1972, the Minnesota Blue Flame Gas Association has been educating and promoting natural gas and equipment’s safe use and value. It also encourages energy-efficient equipment and energy conservation practices across Minnesota by commercial and residential customers.

It was a record-breaking day for temperatures. We hosted a hole and played bartender for the day, serving up cold ones on the course. Pro V1 golf ball sleeves, bottle openers, and cooling towels were also available for winners of Closest to the Pin at the hole. In addition to the sponsored hole, there was lots of buzz around the Hydronics trailer as customers stopped to marvel at the boiler display. Attendees of the golf tournament were impressed, and some stated they wished more sponsors would bring demos to events like this.

One customer noted, “I really enjoy that our sales rep can bring new products to us while we are already golfing. We chat about which boiler is best for my upcoming project over a beer. Can’t beat that!”
