Vice President of Data Center Solutions
Tom Wilwert, Welcome to The SVL Team!
SVL is thrilled to introduce Tom Wilwert, our new vice president of data center solutions. He will be instrumental in growing our data center business nationwide.
His first job in the data services industry was as director of sales for a UPS service provider. Before that, in his first sales job, he learned an important lesson about resiliency in the face of failure.
“I was one year into [the job], I was at a crossroads,” he recalls. “I was not very good at my job and was not having success. I contemplated leaving, but giving up does not fit my style. So, I became a student of sales. This is when I realized I needed to let go of the fear and help others find solutions. What a game-changer that was!”
In his short tenure at SVL, he’s enjoying the company culture and the intelligent group of people in his division. “Running a business is not easy,” he says. “The way SVL operates, it is a well-run organization that I am proud to be a part of.”
Because of Tom’s travel schedule, golfing is one of his favorite free time activities. He’s also a baker and finds time to get back behind the oven. “I put myself through college working as a baker,” he says. “I still enjoy dabbling in the kitchen, especially during the holidays.”
We’re excited to have Tom on the team!
