NRP is Aermec’s range of multipurpose external heat pump units operating on refrigerant R410A, designed for four-pipe systems. With just one unit, simultaneous, independent hot and chilled water requests can be accommodated all year round, generating significant energy savings.
A two-pipe version is also available. In this version, the unit produces cold water or hot water in one heat exchanger (connected to the building) and hot water for DHW in another heat exchanger. This version should be used in buildings with two-pipe terminal units with regular demands for DHW.

- AERNET: The device allows the control, management and remote monitoring of a chiller with a PC, smartphone or tablet using a cloud connection. With a simple click, it’s possible to save a log file with all the connected units’ data in the personal terminal for post-analysis.

The Aermec NYK is an air-cooled reversible modular heat pump for the production of chilled or hot water. It can satisfy the needs of residential, commercial, or industrial applications, delivering domestic hot water production up to 149 °F with vapor injection compressors. Performances exceed the minimum efficiencies required by the ASHRAE 90.1 – 2019 regulation. In order to provide flexibility to the existing Aermec product lineup, the NYK can be integrated with Aermec chillers, free cooling chillers, heat pumps, and simultaneous units in the same piping system.
Features
- Operating field:
- Working at full load down to -4 °F outside air temperature in winter, and up to 118.4 °F in summer. Hot water production up to 149 °F.
- Modularity:
- It is possible to couple up to 9 units designed to reduce the overall unit dimensions to a minimum. Silent at the highest levels thanks to the inverter fans used in both the standard (J) and oversized (M) options – the latter also offer high static pressure.
- Flexibility
- NYK allows the installation to be adapted to the actual development system requirements, therefore, the power can be increased over time in a simple and inexpensive way.
- Reliability
- The electrical panel on each module and the management logic via the Multichiller_EVO accessory, which allows the modules to work in synergy with each other, ensure continuity of service even if one unit malfunctions.
- Modularity is essential when component redundancy is required, as it allows for a safer system design and increased reliability.
- Can be used in a system with fixed or variable flow rates.
